sorry this may be dumb but how do i know my cell phones email addres??

Well, I can only speak for Verizon, as that is all I've ever had. The Verizon address is your phone -- email address removed -- i. e. -- email address removed --

I got mine to work but it sounds kind of tinny, I did the save as MP3 thing, is the midi different in the way it sounds? If anyone needs help with the Samsung a670 let me know.

i have a v710 with verizon can someone help me out on getting it as a ringtone. I emailed it to my phone and can play it but cant save it for some reason as a ringtone. It does not give me that option

ok i figured out my problem... just got the phone and i had the last two numbers mixed up..... its on my phone and it plays but it wont let me set it as a ring tone? any one knowhow to fix this?

Go to the saved message and hit ok, then view, then option, then down to "save text" and then hit the right button until you see "save sound", then it will put in a name like melody01, hit the ok button. Then go into setup and set the ringer name you just saved as the one to use.

If you have it on your phone as an . mp3 change the extension to . mid or vice versa where ever you have it saved, then send to your phone again via email. You do not need to convert the sound only change the extension.

l8er,

i have it saved on my desktop and it only gives me an option to save it as a mp3 or all files and either one doesnt work. it only sends as mp3

Alright, not all phones are created equal. To find out what it takes to get the ringtone to your cell phone or if it is even possible check out the HOWARD FORUMS and do a search on your phone model with the word ringtone. You should either get a bit of reading to skim over or the fact it can't be done.

gud luk,

ringtone

Gentleman,

You don't have to pay if you record using your windows media recorder. I used the one from Media Player 10. Worked like a charm. Hit the record button on it then the play button from the website and stopped it when it was done. A little fast editing to delete the dead area before and after. If anyone is interested just PM me and I will forward you the WAV file. I just tested it on my phone. Works great!

Just got a new phone and would like the Cummins ringtone, if you would send it to me I would be greatfull. Thanks, 618-792-5899.

I have had it on my cell for years, sure gets a lot of comments. One thing I like about it, my 70+ year old ears don't hear a lot of ringtones, the CTD sounds are of enough different frequencies I can hear it clearly always!

I made my own. Got the wife to start the truck up and let it idle while I held the phone close to the engine. Sounds good. Gets lots of looks when one of my truck buddies gives me a call. :D

I got an mp4 of it uploaded with stellar. Problem is I can play it back by going to the site and punching in the code. It plays but I don't know how to download it and save it. Doesn't seem like the phone allows it.
