I haven't bought my service manual yet, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the console that houses the cupholders on the floor of the center hump on a 6 speed. Also, how do you remove the little pocket in front of the shifter on the vertical part of the dash.

I'm making a bracket that fits on the passenger side of the center hump to mount my CB on. I'll post pics when it's complete.

Thanks.

DM Kelley, I think once you remove all the little rubber pieces in the bottoms of the cupholders it will reveal the screws holding it in place.

Not sure about the rest though. Vaughn

Three screws. One under the rubber lined hole front left, one onder the rubber in the right cup holder and one under the 4x4 boot. (or if you have the switch for 4x4 it's under the rear left hole) The main shifter boot lifts from the front and tips up to come off. The 4x4 shifter boot has little clips you can feel inside to pull out of the way.
