 Does anyone make a set of custom wheels for a 2006 duelly? Or am i stuck with the steel wheels and chrome inserts.

Also what about those air valves on the rear duels. Is there any kind of custom air valve externders I can attach to make it easier to check the air?

1. You could step up to 19. 5 inch wheels and get alum but that's $$$.

2. I've found that on my dually the rear wheels have a funky valve stem cap that allows you to fill them without taking it off. Maybe someone else can shed more light on this?

check those out. I just saw a set of those on e-bay for $1300, I was going to e-mail the company and find out the weight rating on them, but since I'm not in a big hurry to buy yet-only 11,000 miles on my stock tires- I didn't. price seems to be about $100 less per wheel than ricksons.

Judging from thier parent company info. , I have to wonder where these wheels are made.

I called them last week. The wheels are grossly underrated @ 2600lbs per wheel. They do not meet the air pressure rating for the 19. 5" tires and they are constructed of CAST aluminum. Plus they are only 6" wide which means you can only run the 225/70R19. 5's, not the 245/70R19. 5's and no way, no how are you gonna mount 265/70R19. 5's on them. Right idea, just badly executed. But their steel inner wheel holds promise since the price is right and I believe its listed as an Accuride branded wheel. Been trying to find a part number for that as I have access to Accuride through other sources.

Still hoping Alcoa gets in gear and comes out with the direct bolt on 19. 5 that they've been promising for awhile now.

That said, Ultra Wheel now lists two different 17" dually wheels with the correct width of 6. 5". American Eagle uses a 6" wheel and are underrated for load. Plus, they use the old school style Mag shank lug nut, YUK  :{ These things suck to bolt up. The ultra's use a conical seat type lug, still not as good as the hubcentric set up of stock, but better than the mag shank style.

COME ON ALCOA, GET IT IN GEAR AND GET ER DONE Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

don't quote me on this, but I think they can make any size you need, it will be pricey, though. give him a call and see what he says

Ricksontruck has a great selection of steel 19. 5's and they also have really nice aluminums for a much better price than brentz. bentz actually get some of his wheels from rickson it definetly worth checking out. Ricksontruck.com

I just went with Brentz, it's nice when you can deal with the owner of the company and I must say the wheels are top notch. Brentz definitely has the bling factor along with functionality and custom detail oriented touches like matching center caps that bolt to the wheel and custom lug nut options. I went with the 245/70's and wish there was more of a selection for tread patterns/use in the 265 range because I would have went that way. I couldnt see buying replacement 17's only to have 2-3 options for tires, have more options with the 19. 5's and should last 2-3 times longer per tire and tires are very similarly priced, it's just the wheels that get ya.

Not likely that they mean 19. 5's Every picture on their site showed slammed dually's with super low profile tires. Kinda doubt those tires have the load ratings. Not one truck had real tires on it that I saw. If I had mad money like that I'd love to have a dually that was all show and could lay frame on the ground, but it ain't happening in this lifetime.
