My GM dealer has an odd Window Sticker system, they have issues at times with the options I have found.

But the 3500HD and 2500HD list it the same way. So trust this for what they post.

2020 3500HD GVWR 11,500

2020 Sierra 2500HD

GVWR 10,850
Lists it as
Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Monitors and alerts you if there is a low-pressure condition in one or more of the tires.

Includes Tire Fill Alert

To bad they don't let one change the values.

On our new 2020 Ford Edge the doors lock at around 5MPH and there is no way to turn off the feature. It automatically starts with stop/start active, you have to push a button to disable it every time you drive it. For 85 bucks you can get a plug and play module that remembers the stop/start switch state when the vehicle is turned off. May get one of those in the spring when it comes out of storage.

Sounds like they did a nice complete New Vehicle Prep. The light had to be on the entire time!

In their defense, I had it for the weekend before purchase or prep. Interestingly, the warning didn't show until I got it on the highway as part of my testing and the temp of the air in the tires naturally increased (increasing the pressure). They did drop the pressure to 65 psi at my request and said the factory always sends with about 80.

They had it all ready to go when I picked it up yesterday; washed, fueled, updated to latest PCM/ECM software, TPMS sensor fixed.

Had an appointment this morning that's about an 80 mile round trip. For a 3/4 ton, rides like a dream. I kept having to keep myself from going over 70-75 (because of local speed limits). The power it has -- compared to what I had before -- is seamless. Computer trip meter says about 19mpg empty. I'm guessing that'll be 16-17 when I hand calculate it, but I didn't buy this because I expected awesome mileage.

Happy man here. Let's hope it stays that way. :D

Had my TPMS reset to 50# front and 30# rear. Still have the readout on the dash display but no bells or low tire light. I run with 55# front and 40# rear unless I'm towing. Friend of mine did the change with his Autel scanner. I did need the vehicle pin# from the dealer parts dept to get it done. I understand that Alfaobd will also do it and more but pin # still needed. Don't know if the TPMS can be turned off with either unit but thresholds can be changed to almost nothing.

Well the one on the left front tire went out now. This is #2. They are on back order so who knows when it will get replaced. I think every truck I have had since they came out with these damn things I have had problems with them. I do not remember if I told ya but service manager told me they set the air pressure at 80 from the factory cause who knows how long it will set on lot and loose air pressure. So looks like dealer does not ck air pressure when they sell one.

I had one TPMS save a tire on a 2500 when it got a puncture. Got pulled off before it lost all air and turned into shrapnel towing at 65MPH. Tire was repaired vs. replaced. They are useful when they work.

And a 2020 DRW I looked at, delivered to the dealer 3 days ago, was set at 85 PSI rears when the sticker said 65. The SRW I wanted to see was just sold.

I understand as inflation for sitting on the lot, but my experience has been checking/ adjusting tire pressures part of purchase prep. Funny the different experiences with TPMS... my 2014 Wrangler flawless, my wifes 2019 Rsm 1500, flawless, and I added aftermarket separate system on my 2017 Ram 5500 and 5th wheel RV.

Nice feature. Wish you the best getting your's straightened out.

Cheers, Ron
