DANA 80 w/disc conversion from DANA 70 w/drums

I’ve had a 98 12 valve for quite awhile now, we went through it top to bottom and front to back but it has never slowed down or stopped with any urgency, I’ve heard many things over the years but wasn’t willing until now to really address it.

The DANA 80 came out of an 01 with a manual transmission

is the answer, a master cylinder or proportioning valve or both? from the same truck I got the rearend from.

Any guidance is appreciated, thank you

That's a good question. My truck (an '02) has the proportioning valve hard plumbed into the 4 wheel anti-lock brake module. Are you keeping the ant-lock brake feature on your truck?

Check out Circle Track Supply, Inc. I used one of their EGR disk brake conversion kits on my 98 12v back in the day. They may be able to answer any questions you have. Good Luck. By the way the disk brakes were a huge improvement.
