I was looking on e bay at dash overlays / plastic dash covers

who has them and what do you think

the good the bad and the ugly

thanks:-{}

I bought a Dash Topper for my father during christmas. The reason for buying one is that he had some cracks in his dash. They are easy to install with velco and are washable if it gets dirty, the price isnt to bad at $50-$100 depending on what you want. Hope this helps, Andrew

is that a dash cloth pad that is not what I was talking about

it plastic and one peace this is what i'm asking about

thanks

E BAY HAS THEM BUT I WANT TO GET A GOOD ONE IF I'M GOING TO DO IT

IF YOU HAVE ONE PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW YOU LIKE IT AND HOW THE INSTALL WENT

THANKS:eek:

I do not have a cracked dash buttttt if there was any question I would buy from Genos Garage. At least you have good customer service.

Dave

I purchased the plastic one from Genos. It's ok, it would probably be better if I had spent some more time triming it up and fitting it. The Mopar plastic paint they sold me was top notch. Be careful when fitting the one from Genos, the left side of mine started splitting at the 90 degree bend from all the moving it around. (taking it in and out of the truck for fitting)

they send you a tube of silicone glue with the dash top. my truck smelled like vinegar for a week or more while the stuff was gassing off. If I had had the time, I would have replaced the whole thing with a new one from Dodge.

yes, it's sticking. Fit right? hhhmmm, in some places it looks great, and then some places you can obviously tell fitting plastic parts is not my forte. It looks great on the passenger side. Drivers side, front of the dash where it curves over the top and has to butt up against some black dash trim did not go so well. perhaps I got too much silicone glue in that arean and it just wouldn't lay flat. Plus I had to cut the hole for the side window defroster vent on the drivers side. If I had time on my hands I would go back with a factory dash.
