2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dashtop Replacement Help

I've seen numerous posts about the cracked dash. I am now proud to say I am a full-fledged member of this elite club. With that said, I want to replace just the top and would like to know if anyone has already done this that can offer pictures, advice, special tools needed, etc. Sad to say I don't own a shop manual (but have it on my x-mas wish list), which is why I'm looking for anyone who could provide the steps to accomplish this task. Also, I checked Geno's but they only sell a dashtop cover and not the actual dashtop. Before I check the dealer, anyone know where i can locate a new one? I've seen posts that mention prices anywhere from $110 - $170, but the few links I visited said they were either out of stock or discontinued. Any ideas? Its for an '01. Thanks!
