The BD TSB doesn't add fuel, so our Chrysler rep saw no warranty issues from using it.
Is the 18/18 from the time you apply or make application or could it be from the time you first tried to get the problem resolved? I have been trying to get this resolved for almost 2 years. Although, I began by checking with service depts and this forum to see if there was a fix. Still, it has been in the dealer within the 18/18 time frame for this problem. And I agree with Don Fitzwater. I knew this truck had the problem from the first test drive and mentioned it to the salesman. We decided it could be addressed by the service dept. BIG MISTAKE. Seems I just keep learning the hard way.
First I have seen of this device.
I just posted this on another thread. I posted some links below as well.
BD now has a Second Generation TSB. They also have a "Smart" button available.
I just ordered the BD Second Generation Throttle Sensitivity Booster with Remote Button from Xtreme Diesel Performance. With Instant 10% Discount it was $234 for the booster and $44 for the Smart button.
For you Canadian guys, I actually got it cheaper from XDP even with the exchange and shipping than I could get it for direct retail from BD Diesel Performance in Canada. It's $399 for booster plus $65 for switch plus Tax. I'm all in for under $400 CAD from Xtreme Diesel Performance in the States.
When I spoke with BD Diesel Performance direct, they had 87 in stock.
Hopefully this looks after this problem. I'll post my results once I get it installed.
Here are the links to the Booster and Switch mentioned above.
Click on the top right of the page to the curled over corner. A discount box will appear.
