I posted several months ago about my truck stalling out when it stops randomly. It will idle rough for 2-5 seconds then stall out. It will do this 5 or 6 times then it will drive normal for a month or so. Then the problem will repeat. It will never throw a code while stalling. I had it at the dealer and had the shop Forman riding along with me and replicated the issue 5 times with him in the truck. At first they said it was the TC. Then when I picked the truck up the diesel tech said that he thought the transmission filter had a hairline crack in it and was not allowing enough fluid to pass through causing it to stall. SO instead of replacing the TC they replaced the trans filters and charged me 300 dollars. 3 weeks later it was stalling again. This past time I was pulling my 8k travel trailer on a curvy back road with my 2 kids and my wife. The truck decided to stall at a rolling 20MPH in a sharp curve and almost caused me to run off the road. I went back to the dealer yesterday with video of the truck stalling out. I called the dealer today to get an update and service advisor said "well its not throwing any codes so we don't know what to do." I am seriously about to lose my cool with the dealer. Do you guys think I would get any support from FCA on this or should I drive 70 miles to the next Ram dealer and start over.
Thank you guys in advance for any input or help.
