Givem' a few more years to add the hard drive.

We don't need a inmature 30 y. o. something student to keep telling us how poor it is and how great old style is. Go do something constructive.
EBottema said:I'm a 20yo student by the way, not 30 something. WE know the new system is here to stay but it seems that the automotive industry only gets worse and worse as years go on. Shoot you are a dealer tech you said, maybe you should contsructivly go throw some parts at a car instead of figuring out the real problem?? I said nothing against you other anyone else in this thread why don't you calm down. Lets reflash your grumpy pcm :-laf
SHyans said:Being that we've all been down the 20 yr old road already, you would have had more credibility if you's stuck with the assumption that you were "30 something".![]()
EBottema said::-laf Either way it is okay. Please refrain from putting me in caliber as XCumminsX is. :-laf Where is that guy?
Speaking of where people are... Where are you Koop Daddio?
EBottema said:I can afford one without a problem, however, I don't want one. The 03s are nice looking trucks I don't care for the new style injection system.

EBottema said:DP- I have a conscience, I could never work at a dealer becuase I have one. I have spent plenty of late cold nights windy in the analope valley working on cars. Sure some stuff on new cars is much improved but I will say this. I will say that you will still see plenty of Model T's and VW Bugs and the many older pre 70's cars around long after all the new cars hit 25-30 years old. You cannot argue with that. There will never be a collectors hobby or value for newer cars or trucks with all the new componantes that have a finate lifespan. Too many things to fix, too expensive. BTW- I did buy my truck with my own money so the age related comments need to stop.
