Deep Tranmission Pan

I was wondering with the Aluminum pans, do you guys use the large "washer" magnet that is in the stock pan? I was thinking of JB welding it to the bottom of the pan, though it would make it harder to clean. I just hate to have that magnet slosh around and stick to the valve body or something.

My DD pan has a magnet built into the drain plug.

The PML pans use a magnetic drain plug, I wouldn't think the factory one would be necessary etc. The PML pan get you increased capacity and lower the temp as much as the pans that add 6-8 quarts without having to add past the PML 2 quart amount. They are also clear anodized as the powder coating that some companies use is actually a very good insulator. Why would you want to insulate a cast aluminum pan when you added it to lower fluid temps??
