Defrost On All The Time-

Recently I have noticed that my defrost is on constantly, no matter what position the knob is on (with the exception of OFF)

Is this a vacuum problem? Maybe a vac. hose came loose somewhere, or is there an actuator of some sort?

I think you have the old broken flapper in your heater box. TSB 24-004-03 should take care of it. Common problem on early builds.
