Well I have decided to try a Dodge again after driving Fords for the past 4 yrs. A Great deal and the awesome interior was what brought me back but after reading the posts here for the past few days I am starting to have second thoughts. It just seams that there are so many more quality problems with these trucks then the other two brands and there is nothing worse than having my truck in the shop as I basically live in it for work. Anyone else make the switch from the Ford 6. 4 to the '11 Dodge?

Are you kidding? The Ford 6. 4 vs. the Cummins 6. 7L is no comparison. My truck is my work vehicle and I have had 0 problems with the Cummins engine. My '08 was the same.

Don't forget the ~$10,000 premium for a Ford or Chevy.

The only thing mine has been to the dealer for is a couple of recalls. Fixing to turn 30,000.

If you just watch the web you will scare yourself to death most of the time people only post about problem's there are alot of great running truck's out there My 08 was 92,000 miles young in 3 yr's and ran like a Top traded up to the 2011 I now have and working on 16,000 in 5 month's No Problem's what so ever Drive it like a Truck and you will be Fine .

Mine has only been back to the dealer for routine service at which time a few recalls were addressed (power steering cap, door locks, etc. ). It's never been back for a problem I've actually experienced - heck, I've never seen a message on the EVIC other than "Trailer Disconnected" when I unplug the 5th wheel while unhitching.

Do you really want to be a test driver on a new FORD engine AND pay $60,000 for that privilege?? Go with the Dodge, proven drivetrain. Excellent truck.

Apparently you haven't spent the same amount of time reading about Ford... or you would have jumped ship a LONG time ago... .

You didn't make a mistake. You are going to like the 11. Mileage is not as good as the older models but it's the same for the other guys with all the emissions.

10k so far and nothing but oil changes.

Any truck with a DPF will have lowered mileage, especially with short trips.

Towing, the mileage on this one is as good or better than the 5. 9's I had.
