Its a statement. You have a corvette and take it to a car show, everybody is all over it saying "that intake is wrong, that bolt is wrong, those are the wrong wiper blades, etc, etc" Why not just blow them all away and just put a diesel in it.



In my book I don't hold the 70-90's vettes in the same light as I do the mussel cars of the 50's-early 70's. There is lots of these vettes out there.



Its not like he distroyed a 69 camaro RS by dropping the diesel in it. Still, everything can still be changed back to gas if he wants



I want to build one also! My brother picked up a 78 vette for $500. 00 If I could talk him out of it I would drop a diesel in it if I found one not already blown up. Maybe with a 5 speed behind it.

Hmmm. Has me considering putting a 5. 9 in my Chevelle. It was after all a straight six car before we converted it to street/strip use. I wonder... ... :-laf

I have often thought of putting a CTD in a 33 Willies Coupe. The hood is tall enough but the turbos Might have to hang out the sides
