I put 150s in my 99 and had the same surging when in cruise. I have the edge CTS and usually drive with it at three. I switched to one on the edge and the surging in cruise went away. So for long trips I set the edge at one. I am wondering if you can find a setting on the TST box, you have, that will do the same thing.
