Diesel at the Flying J is $2. 719 in Albuquerque and regular gasoline is over $3. 00 a gallon.

The truck strike in the mid 70's was supposed to be the answer to our problems. The organizers sold us down the river and we wound up being worse off than before. Big money is in charge and always will be. We are supposed to be grateful we live in the greatest country on the planet and not complain about greed and corruption because it could be worse. From what I see it is getting worse and no hope of getting better. I am a war refugee and a Korean war Veteran. That does not qualify me for anything but I have had a lot of time to observe the steady decline of Honesty and decency and the demoralization of the general population. What is the answer. Abolish the ACLU and put GOD back in our schools. There is no separation of Church and state. That is communist propaganda.

If there really is an energy crisis looming, why would China start to export cars to America? Maybe they (China) should export fuel to the U. S.

China is a major net importer of fuel, and are a growing market. Why do you think the Chinese are so interested in Africa and Hugo Chavez etc?

I found diesel at the Flying J in Splendora Tx for 2. 59 today. Dropped almost 20 cents this week.

Small vehicle sales are DOWN over 5%, and LARGE SUV's are up over 15 % this past month! MOST people are not willing to give up the large gas guzzlers, so BIG oil raises the prices, and makes MORE profits, simply because they can, and ANY time they want!

I filled up on my way back to STL from NC Friday night and the Flying J at exit 369 outside of Knoxsville had diesel for 2. 50 a gallon, I was exstatic! Though, when I bought my truck in 2002 it was 97 cents a gallon. Just goes to show you if that if you are a victim long enough you'll appreciate any little bone you get thrown your way.

There is a campaign going around the internet to not buy gasoline or diesel on the 15th of this month, but what good would do? Most people would buy it the day before or the day after. The best thing we can all do is cut our fuel consumption down by 25%. If everyone could do that, it would hurt the refineries, fuel distribution and fueling stations.

Diesel or gasoline is one thing 95% of americans will not go without. The other day I was in the grocery story and the lady in front of me paid with food stamps/WIC card at the check out. I checked out and went down the road to the gas station to fuel up. I go into pay and the same lady is 2 people ahead of me again. She says "35. 00 dollars on pump three" and hands over the cash. She was driving a older suv. Things that make ya go hmmmmmmmmmmm... ... ... ... .

Here in peoples republic of MA. diesel has been 10cents cheaper for weeks.

Its still high but every fill up it brings a big grin to my face thinking i saved 2. 80 on a fill up and get 16-17 mpg

And the poor hemi drivers are doing 10-12 mpg :{

Regular unleaded is $3. 47 and diesel is $3. 09. Last year it was the opposite here in Washington state.

It seems like Gasoline and Diesel are two things where supply and demand does not control the price. I don't see Gas Stations running out of Gas so it must be GREED

Diesel is higher then gasoline here In Pa.

I was in Ohio yesterday and paid 2. 73 for diesel here in Pa 2. 99 and gas is cheaper here also. If gas or diesel goes to 4 bucks a gallon I am staying home and rideing my bike. If everyone would do that then maybe they would wake up a bit.
