Gas and diesel are not going to go down except in short term spurts. they're going to continually go up. Better get friendly with your local McDonalds and rig something up to make biodiesel!

$2. 65. 9/gal in Friday Harbor, on San Juan Island, Washington... . and can't get more than about 16 MPG because the island has only two-lane roads and max speed limit on entire island is 45 MPH.

Up here in Calgary Alberta Canada--- i paid. 729cents/litre or about 2. 755can a gallon today. With the dollar factor i think were about the same. Heck we have lots of oil here, its at an all time high--53. 00 a barrel. Thanks to high oil and gas prices were the only debt free province up here and have a 8-10 billion surplus ,the economy is doing very well,lots of work everywhere. (mineral rights belong to the provinces---for now ). Hold on though the federal government is trying to think of a way they can get there hands on most of that money so they can **** it away in the east.

Hey Guys, Its all my fault soon after I bought my first diesel pu the price has gone up ever since, I am now looking at upgrading although I still rely like my old pu, and it runs great. I know if I buy a hemi instead of a cummins deisel prices will go down, go figure.

old 98 paid for fuel cost me about $50. 00 to $60. 00 A mo. more still better than A truck note. :--)

Fuel who needs it, WE DO!

Diesel price where I normally fill up, Exxon station has dropped a whole three cents. Was going up every couple days pretty steady,it went to $2. 179 for three or four days then dropped to $2. 149 an has been that price for last three days. The other Exxon station about three miles away has been at $2. 129 while the one I use, was flip-flopping around. They must of got to feeling a little guilty for some reason, no gouging pun intended.

Paid 2. 44 this weekend. Looks like I'll be parking this truck until they come down. 2. 07 to put gasoline in my car and it gets better mpg.

I dont know about any one else but with the high price I am also seeing a drop in mileage. Last I paid was 2. 359 and that was low compaired to most places around.

I don't know about the rest of you but here in Arizona the price is skyrocketing. Additionally, truck stops are no longer rebating the taxes that only big rigs should be paying. We are supposed to get a light truck rate that is 8 cents a gallon cheaper. I feel for the truckers but also hate paying a higher rate for diesel.

rehashing an old thread but I barely drive my truck anymore as it has been $2. 30 to $2. 40 range here in north eastern maryland. I have been riding my bikes into work as it cost me ~$70 bucks to fill it from near empty last time (I need to fill it once a week for work). Have the prices across the country gotten better for guys?

I know that feeling Tom. I just popped $100. 00 on my debit card to "fill" my truck yesterday here in Phoenix. Not a happy camper about that either. I saw an Exxon station charging $2. 51/gallon and a Texaco wanted $2. 47/gallon for diesel.



I drove across town to find the Discount Gas store on 7th Ave and I-17 to get mine. They are charging $2. 169/gallon at this time. Flying A out west wants $2. 17/gallon last week when I was over there.



It's not cheap. I am buying a '85 Honda Goldwing to use for my daily driver. My son isn't using it anymore and it gets 55 mpg. Somewhat better than my pickup's 15 in town.

The day before the first hurricane hit south florida, diesel jumped 20 cents a gallon in Florida. The industry obviously wanted to gouge all the out of state power company workers who came down to help! It's hard to find someone who doesn't worship the dollar anymore!

I am actually considering selling my beloved truck. This is my first pickup truck and I can't believe I lived without one up until I bought it! It is one thing to not drive the truck because I am obsessed with motorcycles (and I am) but to not drive it because you are feeling the cost of refueling it and how it affects my monthly budget is terrible.



If I do get sell the truck I would get a Honda Civic or something. I am in shock now as playing the waiting game for prices to come down hasn't exactly worked for me the past several months.



Just venting guys... I really do love the truck. I am a longtime lurker here and enjoy this site very much.
