Uggh... ... . just seperated my rotors from my hub and noticed a potential problem. My new rotors (EGR) are 1 3/16" thick compared to 1 1/2" thick for the original ones. The new brake pads the same thickness roughly. The new calipers are the same Bendix model.
I realize that the piston will make up the difference but is that okay?? The piston will start out being extended further throughout the life of the pads. What gives.....
What do you think? Did other people that did the front conversion notice this difference?? Is it something to worry about? Should I care?
