I just wanted to find out if I have a Limited Slip in the rear axle. In the glove box says there is "DSA - Anti-Spin Differential". On the original window sticker does not say anything about Limited Slip too. So, does Anti-Spin mean Limited Slip? I'm trying to figure that out, to know what the capacity is and if i need the friction modifier. In the manual says also "Trac-lok and Powr-lok equipped axles require a friction modifier be added to the lubricant". Can't find either of those listed on the window sticker, or glove box door. How do I know if I have either one?
Can someone advise on that, and what's the capacity of the rear axle is? I have the Mag-Hytek cover.
Thank you all for your help.

Anti-spin and limited slip is the same thing. Since you don't have the stock cover, I doubt you have the stock limited slip tag on the cover bolt. On level ground, jack up the back under the pumpkin while in neutral. spin the tire and if they both roll in the same direction, it is a limited slip. If they spin in opposite direction, it is an open differential. Open differentials will spin in opposite direction in neutral or any gear, including park. Usually one squeeze tube of friction additive will do it. Sometimes it needs a few miles for it to work in. That's if you need any.

Finally, replaced the fluid. Had to buy it from Mag-Hytec. They sell LE fluids. It's the LE 1605 that David recommended for D80 axle. It's 110 weight. They said it's a really good lube for the differential. I kept looking at the auto parts stores (O'Reily, Pep Boys, Autozone) and they all had just 1 or 2 bottles of the Royal Purple. Valvoline was out everywhere, maybe because of the lowest price was all sold out. So I got tired and wanted to change it, so I called Mag-Hytec to see if they sell any lubes, and they did- the LE. So, I'm trying it. I put in 2 bottles of the friction modifier and almost 7.5 qts of the lube to get it to the level they showed me at Mag-Hytec (the upper mark on the dip stick). Fo far nothing different in terms of noises. The old fluid was bought at the dealer using VIN number, and was straight W90. I still have the bottle. There was nothing more then the usual muddy slurry on the magnet of the drain plug.
Does anyone use this LE 1605 lube? If you do - what's your experience with it?
Thank you everyone.
