2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Disc Brake Pads

I have a 1996 3/4 ton on which I converted the back brakes to disc. Does anybody know the part number for the pads? EGR seems a little overpriced. I was under the impression that the conversion kit is a Cadillac disc brake. Anyone know what year, if that is so?

Whoever sold the conversion will probably know the replacement part the best. If you're not sure what style/manufacture the rear brakes are, I doubt you're going to get much good advice from the forum.

I have a trailer that I converted to disk the kit worked fine and when I needed to replace the pads the company told me that they would send me the pads (at a real high price) I took the pads out and went to our local Napa guy, I know that parts guys like this are FAR AND FEW. I gave him the pads and went to do something around town. Came back in an hour or so and he had the NEW PADS IN STOCK I went and installed them on the trailer with NOT A PROBLEM. Find someone that knows what they are looking at and your problem will be solved. Your average KID At the parts store that knows nothing but how to punch the keys on the computer IS NOT GOING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

The pads that you need for your Caddy rear disc brakes, should be for a 76-78 Eldorado E-Brake calipers. The pads are easy to find. But the calipers are getting SCARCE. Take your old pads with you to compare.
