Intrepid tray probs...

TDR Issue 37

... after pulling out a rootball, I wasn't aligned right to pull it into the other driveway, to deposit it in the swamp, so I drove around the neighborhood with it. Got a lot of looks from the neighbors. They were probably thinking I was going to leave it a driveway along the way :)

i picture of this sight would speak louder than words could... :-laf

[kinda like seeing my friend doing donuts in a parking lot with a front drive car with plastic mcdonalds lunch trays under the rear tires with the parking brake on]

I would have said I was pulling a stump around the neighborhood, but then you would have thought I was dragging my pegleg.

Doc

When I lived in IL, I'd been known to cut down large trees and drag them on the street through the neighborhood to my vacant lot for cutting and burning. Imagine a 2500 dragging a pile of brush behind that is 20' long, 12' wide and 8' high. Poor man's camo?).

Since the 'professional' way to do it would be to load it into the bed of your truck (or onto a trailer) and *then* transport it, I would say you qualify as a redneck, Doc.

:D
