Over all, I like my truck. Just got "the phonecall" from my dealer concerning the bad freeze plugs. I hope my truck isn't effected. I'm afraid if they change the motor, I might lose the MPG i'm getting, and end up with a "bad" one.
Yup. Zero problemns. 17. 5 MPG, only "good vibrations", but I wish I'd ordered a different color and alloy wheels. Can't ever make up my mind on the 2WD 4WD thing.
Yup! Especially since the dlr has gotten it running! Just a small problem with a metal filing in the fuel return valve blocking the valve open. Certainly a strong truck. Looking forward to towing with it! Larv
You bet ya! It's a blast to drive. Even the wife gets excited about going for a ride in it. I am looking forward to having some more dough so I can put on some 315s, flares, Line-X, brush guard, etc...
I wish I ordered the alloy wheels also. The chrome I think look better but require more maintaince. I love this truck, 5500 miles so far. Click from the clutch pedal stopped by itself. I still get moisture in the cab lights. No cab smell, no funny vibration. Next time I would go 3500 srw for the extra gvwr. 9000 - 7400 does not leave much payload. I get 14. 7 on the overhead pure city. Goes way up on the highway if I set it on 65.
Probably start buy-back proceedings in the next couple weeks... unless they can fix the knocking injectors and drivetrain vibration... . been in 3 times so far...
