Stab, what did you think of the 1/2 ton? My daughter looking at one for next year.

If I didn't have a towing fetish, I would buy the Eco-Diesel hands down! My wife is looking @ the Eco-Diesel Jeep!

I still like my air ride! I can see a few changes over the years in fooling the settings but, it's still nice to have it @ your finger tips!

I was told that the Aisin will not be offered in the 3500 in 2016. I would guess 4500 and 5500 only and the air ride will not be offered anymore.

I would expect them to discontinue the G56 before the Aisin. But I love my Cummins mated to G56.

THAT I could believe!

At which point they better offer 3.73's to account for the high 1st gear ratio or decrease the tow rating. As it takes the Aisin to get the highest tow rating doesn't it?

I could see the Aisin become the standard transmission for the duallie. Why not gear up and make it a 3500 standard, as they are separating the 3500 and 2500 more and more.

Available shortage is a fixable issue! Snoking

Me thinks so.

As I said before I would not hesitate Aisin/3:42's in a SRW or even a Dually in the Non Heavy weight towing.

Well at O'Hara Dodge I was looking at a new 2014 on the lot. They were trying to get more than the 2015's that were there.
Then the old sales crap came out, If you don't buy it today then this deal might not be on the table in two week when you
return from your trip. And then he said not to bring back my trade damaged. All those rebates and coupons he offered
will not be there.
After that, I walked out.

Always following the saying, 'there's never a deal on a Tuesday they won't offer you again on a Thursday.' You can get the exact same discount on the new one as you can the year old "new" one... though most of the time you have to do the negotiating by phone/email/fax, and not in person to get to that price point.

Hulk,Welcome glad to see you made it over

Thanks bud---appreciate you steering me this way!

Just got word that my rig is supoposed to be loaded onto a railcar on Saturday this weekend for shipping. For you sports fans following along at home, that's just under a month turnaround time from order date to ship date. Not bad at all!

I need to get cracking on listing my current truck for sale. It would be much nicer to sell that locally and get the extra money for it versus trading it in and losing a bit more. I also need to get going on ordering the mods for the new truck too! I was hoping to have all that stuff sitting here for when she shows up :)

Speaking of current trucks. I sold my '01 5-speed 3500 quad cab 4x4 in 10 minutes on Craigslist. Listed it at 9:45pm during a week day, and at 9:55pm someone committed to showing up, paying full price, and having me follow him to his bank. Had 6 offers just before him. Was the most bizarre thing ever. 2nd gen trucks are in demand...not sure what your current truck is.

I'm not sure what the actual shipping lead time is once it's loaded on the truck (assuming it's being loaded in Mexico). I ordered my 3500/4x4/SRW/Crew cab/Aisin/Air susp on 03/18/15 and I was just notified that it arrived at the dealer last night. I was quoted an 8-12 week lead time for delivery, but it actually came in just over 6 weeks. I was more than a little surprised...

Ordered on 3/21. Built on 4/10. Loaded on railcar on 4/13. Arrived at Union Pacific Roper Yard in Salt Lake City on 4/27. I'm hoping a truck picks it up tomorrow to deliver to dealer.

2500 MC Laramie. I've owned a '97 and '02 CTD before this one.

My current truck is a black 2010 Ford Harley Davidson F150. Only 39K miles on it. Gonna list it for a tad under blue book resale and see what happens. Hopefully she moves quickly. I need to pull my sound system out of it this weekend and hopefully get it listed by Monday next week.

As for my RAM on order---ordered on 4.3 and already shipping this coming Saturday. It is indeed coming from the Mexico plant, so it sounds like it may be a while just yet before it makes it up to the belvedere plant. Sounds like I've still got some time just yet.

My truck came about 5 weeks I believe.... and it had the previously "restricted" rear air bags. They've been getting them out quick. Often times though they're held up at the train in your local town a week or two. My sales guy went and physically picked mine up from the train.
