Thanks again guys for all your help. I'm getting mine at 4 Wheel Parts. I asked about painting them to keep them from rusting. They said definitely do not paint them - it will void the warranty. Just thought you'd like to know what I found out.

Paint or not to paint?

I can't believe your warranty would be voided if you paint your shocks? I painted mine "black" the day they were installed and used black shocks boots also... I didn't want to drive around with white shocks that get dirty all the time and like some one said call attention to them when they rust. It seems to me Rancho says that so you can advertise for them for free? I haven't had a problem with them yet, so I guess I'll wait and see if I ever need replacement!

Rancho 9000s - Rust

Just wanted to let you know that I was told if they rust or corrode they will be replaced under warranty. Of course, if you're paying to have them installed, then you'd have to pay for labor again.
