Im replacing my door speakers in the front of my 2000 does anybody know the polarity for the wires? I dont have awireing guide so i dont know which one is + and what color is _
Not too sure, but it is not a bad idea to BOMB the speaker wires!!! I did mine, and it makes a difference! Are you going to be running the factory head unit? Just curious. .
When you remove the factory speaker cut the wires about an inch from the speaker then hook a small 9 volt battery to the wires you want the speaker to move outward look at wires what ever wire is on the pos side to make the speaker move away from the magnet is the pos speaker wire.
Even better... go get some Rockford Fosgate High Definition speaker wire, and run it straight off the back of the new head unit, and into the doors. . I did, and I will tell you the clarity makes a difference. You wont be disappointed!
