Here I am

Dr. Performance's 9-Second Truck

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

They sure don't use fuel "like a rock"!

Need some pictures for promotional...

Well a little info on this truck.

It's total weight with driver is under 3,000lbs. It did these 9's with an HX40. The motor is only cranking out about 500hp. Supposedly the Doc is starting to gather parts for a "REAL" engine that should be around 700hp. The one in there now is a "test" engine.

The Doc is back in business, and is not here in Texas, just west of DFW.

There is someone with that Dr. P program posting on www.alldieselmotorsports.com. His name is "Comp461".

My sales guy mentioned Dr. Performance out in Weatherford and some of the things he was doing on the 3 Gen's. I didn't put 2 and 2 together until just now.

From what I have heard, he is a high school dropout, certainly does not have a Ph. D. , EdD, or MD. OTOH, some folks actually go to school to get degrees, instead of taking a nickname.

Ph. D. Chemistry, 1979, W. Va. University

Hey Joe,

Wanna come to Arizona and start teaching Chemistry? Current prof is a joke of an ex-hippie that couldn't teach a rock to sit still, let alone a basic college chem course.

Oh well, wishful thinking... too bad my GPA suffers due to this guy.

Actually Joe I think he just might be a doc.

THERE IS A DIPLOMA ON HIS OFFICE WALL, THAT SAY'S " BARRY SADLER DO "DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE

That's a quote from someone who works for him.

:(

I think he is in Weatherford, Tx, Right off I-20 on old Dennis road and across from Pilot truck stop.

Let me correct ya... . Across from the Pilot Truck stop is the famous 406 Chrome shop!!! If you take the next exit, exit 407, which is 1884 and Tin Top Road, Go through the first stop sign, being 1884, and the next stop sign is Tin Top Road. . He is right there, on the eastbound side. Cant miss it. it is right across I-20 from the HOME DEPOT... Hope this helps. A friend of mine lives off 1884, and I was told to stay away from that shop!

I will go by on the way home and see if he moved or something. I sure thought I saw his shop by Zanetti trailers across from Pilot a few months ago. The area you area describing is where the KOA campgound is located and used to be some auto shop and self storage area. Maybe he moved into that auto shop.

I think that truck is sitting over at SEMA. I'll try to shoot some pics when I go tomorrow. I ran past it yesterday but didn't stop to take a real look. Looked like a p-pumped 24v though.

<3000#? Woo Hoo! Hang on, that should be a fun ride, even with only 500hp.

Keith,

He did say something about being at SEMA this year with that truck.

once again... .

You guys are missing the total misrepresentation. It is a totally stock engine except for dr Ps injectors. Then it says it has a fueling box. Also I do not think the hx40 is stock on that truck. What else are they failing to mention. Oh the truck is claimed to be streetable. I havent seen it but at 3000 lbs with the driver im doubtful.

You gave good directions, but on old Dennis road, past and across from Pilot is a huge new automotive building with a Dr Performance sign right in front of it. I went to the location your buddy gave you and there is a trailer sales lot there with a Dr Performance banner there also. I don't know if either one is the real location of Dr Performance or not.
