So with what you are saying is, you can't top off either?DEF won’t enter the fuel tank unless the 2nd flapper of the fuel filler neck is depressed. It will simply run out on the ground.....

I have only done it once, if you try to force too much fuel in the tank it drops fuel out on the ground from behind the bed side panel. Normally I fill until nozzle clicks off, wait a second or two and fill again. It clicks off very quickly the second time. Once more/third time and I hang up the nozzle. Try more and you have fuel running on the ground.

My f150 has a drain between the 2 flapper, I took 2 screwdrivers and depressed the buttons on each side and opened the first flap, went to pour in some MM OIL and it ran out on ground, pushed on in and opened 2nd flap and MM Oil went into tank,Montesee above comment...I don't think that is correct. about a drain between the two flappers?
And there you have it......thanks for the backup, mfurrh55. Similar design between the FCA and FoMoCo filler necks. My f150 has a drain between the 2 flapper, I took 2 screwdrivers and depressed the buttons on each side and opened the first flap, went to pour in some MM OIL and it ran out on ground, pushed on in and opened 2nd flap and MM Oil went into tank,Monte

That’s why you have that small funnel (attached to your jack, under the front passenger seat) for depressing both flappers....ok thanks for the info...I stand corrected![]()

It’s used for adding additives and/or adding fuel from a container in the event one runs out of fuel.

I have yet to find a PS product I liked that didn’t have alcohol in it. Alcohol has ZERO business in ANY modern diesel fuel system. PS will NEVER be an any of my diesels. Period.
The only power service product that contains alcohol is 911.
Found this from PS themselves:You should do some more research sir. I don't want to hijack this thread and start another "best oil" thread, so I'll leave it that.![]()
The only product manufactured by Power Service that contains alcohol is our Diesel 9-1-1 -- For Diesel Fuel Emergencies. This product reliquefies gelled fuel, de-ices frozen fuel filters, and removes water.
