heated fuel
Hello All
Mark the plan is to heat the fuel tank using a Arctic Fox heat exchanger set to 80 degs in a transfer flow 56 gallon tank also a custom tank where the spare tire is hooked up to the transfer flow tank or a tank running down the other side of the frame rail moving the muffler hooking it up so there is only one fill neck
I wont be running a spare tire swicthing to 285/70-19. 5 tires (H rated 16 ply)for 35 inch tall tires running Alcoa wheels and look's like Yokohama Y303 tires have the wheels and adaptors just need the tires.
Heating pad for the filter is on order (thanks kbennett for the web site) email them have not herd back on making a custom heating pad .
also will have a 110 heater in the tank to keep the oil warm at night in the winter and gauges to montor the fuel with all of the mods this should be good to run dse blend fuel all the time thats my goal for next winter.
yes it is a lot of money to spend but I think fuel prices will hit 3. 50 to 4. 00 per gallon this year and only getting worse the days of cheeper fuel are gone!
with all the EPA rules and new diesel regs we are in full a bumpy ride
these are just my thoughts I have no way of knowing this will happen.
