fuel at 5 degs
Hello to All
HAPPY NEW YEAR
The weather turned a little colder the last few days it got down to 5 degs and the fuel did jell in the tank got the truck some #2 fuel around 9 gallons of fuel and that took care of the problem. the fuel mix is ok to around 19 degs but any lower then that it starts to jell with it just not working at around 10 degs, the heated fuel pump works but it just cant keep that much fuel heated.
I have found a fuel tank maker, have tryed to call them but with Christmas and New Years have not been able to get a hold of them. If the web site is right it looks like they make a 58 gallon tank for my truck it made of the same stuff as the OEM Tank so there would be no rust issues this will be good if it is true.
I will be heating my tank in the next two weeks, will post pics and give you what I find out about the bigger tank. if the new tank is what i think it is and can be shipped this week then this might be a little longer then two weeks.
thanks for reading
