Wanted to get an idea of the price of the 19. 5 in. , Dual Design aluminum wheels and tires for a new 3500. I know it depends on the tires you run, I just want a ballpark idea. I have a friend who wants to get a truck and plans on putting this setup on. I want to give him some idea of what it will cost. Pleas e mail me if posting is an issue. Thanks,

Craig

I can't help you on the cost. I have the Rickson 19. 5's on my 3500. I was looking at the Dual Design package, but they require an adapter which make the wheel and tire assembly stick out about 2 inchs more than stock or the Rickson set up. I figured my truck threw enough mud and gravel already. I do know what it costs for Rickson 19. 5's including a spare. Email me if your interested that information.

Posting not an isssue Craig, they run between $4600. and $5000. depending on the type of tire. 12 ply hiway tires are a couple of hundred cheaper than the 14 ply mud tires. Pete

I was on my third set of Michelins when I put the 19. 5's on. My truck weighs in at 12,000 GVW and I do alot of driving in the mountains
and a fair amount of off road. 22,000 miles is what I would see on the stock tires. I now have about 24,000 on the Toyo 303's on the Rickson wheels and they are 1/3 gone. There is no way they will go the 100,000 plus, probally about 60,000 is all I will get out of them. I do like the added feeling of secutity I have with them under the truck, and the LOOK of course.

I have the Dual Designs on mine. I went with them b/c they were all that was available at the time, Rickson's weren't out yet. I get 60-70,000 out of the Michelin XZT's on the back and a little more out of the XZE's on the front, without rotating.
