Use the air chuck that is about 6" long and has a angled and straight head. Works great. No need for extenders. Maybe someone can post a pic.

I have used the short extenders (so you don't have to reach in and remove the valve cap) on last two trucks with no problems. You do have to have the extended chuck as mentioned above to reach the stems. bg

I found these and bought em I do not like the idea of having to have a special chuck to air the tires and most service stations do not have them .

I got a tool from a tire truck that makes it easy to reach the valve cap to remove it and replace it. The tool is used for big trucks. As posted above get the inflation tool that is long enough to reach easily. I don't like the extensions as they are a source for problems.

I have used 2 wheelmasters on each set of dualies for 12 yrs and never had a problem. I replaced the valve caps with Alligator caps. Flow thru and never had a leakage.

FORGOT to say that the valvecstems should be metal that have a nut on the outside. rubber stems should not be used over 50 psi and will pul out with extenders at highway speeds.
