I ahve a 02 4x4 dually and i want to drop it both in the front and the rear. Im going to make new blocks for the rear but what about the front? do they make drop coils, or could i maybe put 1/2 ton coils in it?

If you look under there you'll see dropping the front will result in limited suspension travel because the front axle will be getting close to the oil pan.

You could put yourself a free spin kit on... . weld the axle to the frame after taking out the coil springs and the shocks, and then take a torch and cut the part of the axle out from under the front that you don't need. Weld up what you need to keep the truck steerable, and away you go. You will probably need to gusset the axle tubes to the frame so that you don't break them off on the first bump. This will mean that you no longer have 4-wheel drive... so then you can take out the transfer case. Save some weight.

The back end is leaf spring so that should be even easier. Have fun!!!

Why do want to drop the front and rear of your 4WD? Whatever the need is, I'd look for an alternative solution to the problem. One possible solution is to sell your truck and buy a 2WD.

IIRC Kore did a custom lowering suspension for the FASS road racing 4wd truck. It's a third gen, but they're similar in design. If you don't go off-roading, you don't need the travel or articulation. Dirt roads, sand traction, snow on the road, easier access into the cab & bed... . The gain in mpg for a 2" drop should be 1-2 mpg all other things being equal (just my $0. 02!)
