I must be stupid because I can't figure out how to check the air pressure of the inner duals. They have rubber valve stems with a white plastic disk in the center. Do I need a different gauge?? TIA

Just put your gauge over the white center and press, no need to remove the cap.
I use this type of gauge on my DRW.

All my gauges are angled.
I use THIS angle-head gauge I bought on Amazon and don't have any problem checking the inner dual tires with it. The rubber valve stem just shifts over a little to accommodate the angled-head and it works fine.

Best regards,

John L.

I have one with a bad plastic extension on the inner dual valve stem that was defective from Ram. No matter how I tried it would not depress the valve stem to check pressure. I have piece of rubber tubing that I slide over it and use it to unscrew and remove it to check the pressure with a straight gauge like the one show in post #4, then I use the tubing to reinstall to extension. The double foot gets to both valves pretty easily. Getting down on the ground to be at the correct level to see the valve stems is the hardest part. Ken Irwin

I bought some metal extensions, much easier to use than the pos plastic ones. If I ever have them off, I'll get metal valve
stems installed like they should have been from the factory.

My 03 they are supposed to be in the same wheel spoke hole. There is also an oval hole in the wheel between two lugs that is supposed to be lined up with each other to make it easier. If they are not put on that way, I can't get to the inside valve stem. Have not had anyone (inc. dealer) put them on right since I have had the truck until I bought new tires this past December. The little independent shop put them on correctly, I was so impressed. I didn't have to jack it up and align the wheels myself.
