Dually tire valves

I had seen some tire valves for dually's that maintained equal pressure between the two tires and if want lost significant air pressure it would close down so that both tires didn't go flat. There was also a low pressure indicator if tire pressure got to low. Any one know where I can locate these valves. Thanks

To my knowledge, they don't make them for our trucks. The lowest PSI i've seen is 85-90#. I wouldn't mind a set either. Would make it easier to check/add air to tires.

I have no clue who made them... . no clue if they where a quality set-up..... but I know I saw them being sold at one of those RV superstores

Sorry for the delay on getting back. After much searching I came up with the same one that you had on "real wheel" and yes this is what I was looking for. I always wondered if the valve extenders would throw the tire balance off, but never heard anyone being concerned about it. Thanks for the help.

Tire inflater

Just my 2 cents. I tried the hoses attached to the hard stem valve stems and had nothing but trouble. Went to NAPA and found the parts to make a tire checker and inflater. It can be used to check pressure, the gage is on a swivel so it is always readable, and inflate or deflate the tire. Works on all six tires. Any gas station type air hose can be used.

I recieved info from the realwheels folks about 18 months back and the one thing that stood out was the gauge reads 5psi plus or minus of your selected psi ( ie 65psii gauge is good for 60 to 70 psi) I didn't like this since I run 55 empty and 75-80 loaded.

They shouldn't. As long as the valve stems are straight across from each other, there shouldn't be a problem with them. Wouldn't be any different than a tire picking up a small pebble or 2 in the tread.



If you decide to get the extentions, make sure you have metal valve stems on the truck. The rubber ones will run the risk of tearing off.
