I had both my front axle seals replaced today and the shop owner said my axle tubes have a lot of rust in them. Is there an aftermarket end cap or dust cover for our axle tubes?

Rust in the tube is normal. The seals are well inside of the tubes thus there is no lube at the end to prevent rust.

I've not heard of any dust covers. Don't know how they would go on over the hub?

Some inner axle shafts have thin metal dust shields that are on the inside of the yoke. Any axle shaft dealer should be able to help you get this part. They prevent large debris from getting in but aren't watertight or anything. I have seen real outboard axle tube seals for Jeep dana 30's but not for 60s.
