edege ez set on most aggressive
powermax 3 set on 9
dtt t/c,v/b,t/c saver
best of 4 runs with 0D off and t/c saver bypassed
282 rear wheel hp
621 ft pounds torque
no transmission slipage but with the t/c saver on the shift points are wacky so i bypassed it to get the best run listed above( i will call bill k. to get that resolved)
here are a few concerns/comments:
TST POWERMAX 3 on level 9-"advertized" hp gain to rear wheels is +130 and +375 torque
EDGE EZ "advertised" hp gain is +65 to rear wheels and 185lb torque
so if i subtract the "advertized" gain from my dyno results
282hp - 130 pmx3 - 65 edge ez gives me a stock truck with 87 hp
621 torque -375 pmx3 - 185 edge = 61 ft lbs stock
-
we had a few stock trucks run 196-215 rear wheel hp.
i really didn't expect to actually see all the "advertized" hp but this no where close to what it should be running
after tossing and turning all night thinking about it i came up with that maybe they are performing as "advertized" and i just can't supply them with the fuel they need to achive the max. both boxes still have the same seat of the pants feel that they did when i installed them. the transmission shift points are wacky ever since i towed with the t/c saver on.
i kinda feel ripped off after spending the big $$$ on the upgrades. gotta find the weakest link.
comments or suggestions would be apprieciated
