Just thought I'd share this information that I found today to help the next guy that has this problem so that this is searchable. The easy entry seat feature stopped working for me last week even though it was turned on in the menu. Turns out that if you manually make the seat go all the way back while this feature is enabled, it cancels the function even though it is turned on and turning it off then back on does not fix it. Eg, cleaning the truck and moving the seat back out of the way.
To fix it you have first turn the feature OFF in the menu, then run the seat all the way back, then all the way forward, then all the way back again, then hit your preferred seat memory button and let it go to your set place. Now go into the menu and turn the feature back ON and it will work again.
Kind of a dumb kwirk if you ask me, but this fixes it.

how long did it take you to figure that one out..lol. thanks for sharing. I'll probably need that function when i retire from the military next year, as i'm sure ill probably gain a few inches in the mid section.

It does not operate for the full travel of the seat. I do not know the specific measurements, but if the seat is far enough back already, it does not attempt to go all the way back to the extent of full travel. Been that way for years but never understood the logic behind it. I suppose it assumes the seat is already far enough back to get out, so why move it further.

Wonder why they would have done the programming so that it cancels the feature all together though in this circumstance? Sure would be a pain for those that have it happen but not have the resources to figure it out for them selves without going to the dealership.

This is why I’m a member with the TDR. I was almost late bringing my son to school and then later spent 20 minutes in the Walmart parking lot messing around with controls, settings and buttons trying to figure out what in the world happened with my Easy Exit/Memory Recall feature. Did a search here and viola! I struck gold!

Thanks mpaulson!
