Hook up the black wire!

Make sure you hook up the ground. I agree that the instructions are not clear what to do if you just want to use it as an EZ. If you don't ground the wire and start the engine with the wastegate blocked you can set an overboost code.



On the 2001's there is a ground screw near the brake master cylinder you can use and coil the rest of the wire below it.

My instructions suggested putting the ground wire on the bolt for the grid heater ground on the air horn.

BTW, can't believe the extra power on this box. I am waiting for my Blue Chip cover to hook the pump wire. Also, just got my VB and have to install it.

running to batt (-) to ground is an option. assures a good ground. bad ground causes more electrical problems than any other--IMNSHO (In My Not So Humble Opinion! )
