Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge EZ

Hi Guys: I am new to TDR.

I have been reading different topics on this box, I have been thinking on getting the box and some Bosch 275. I keep seeing stuff about having the box hooked up w/out the wire and some w/wire.

My ? is what is the difference?

The EZ doesn't tap the pump wire. The Edge Comp does but when the pump wire is not tapped the comp acts like the EZ. Tapping the pump wire allows for greater fuel delivery. I hope I got all that right.
