I have a 2004. 5 on order. Due end of March!?! Anyway, does this offer include the 'Echo 110HP Mach 3'? I believe that's the injector the 325/600 would use. Thanks, Jim

Any injector they make is included, even 3rd Gen "Echo" injectors. :)

Update: this is not the case. There is no completion date for the Echo injectors yet, hence they cannot be included in this group buy.

Also, to be absolutely straight on this (for others reading this)...

these injectors on the group purchase are Don M. injectors, correct?

The links says "Echo" injectors will not be available until early in the summer. Any clarification there?

Yes, these are DON M. 's (f1diesel.com) injectors. And as for the Echo's not being ready until summer, see the next post...

THE DEAL with ECHO 3rd Gen INJECTORS

I just spoke with Rip about the Echo injectors. There is no firm ETA available yet, and as such he does not feel comfortable selling something that does not exist. Once they are released, the 3rd Gen guys might want to get together another group buy if there's enough interest. Sorry, no go for this round. :(

Oh man I can't believe this... I must have read his name 1000 times and for some reason the R turns into an H when I type it... sorry Rip, won't happen again! I think... :p

Cool, thanks TJD!

I just talked to Rip, he says the Mach 6's are capable of puting the right turbo'd truck in the 700hp range, without the right turbo's they are to big and you loose out. He said these are the b1, b2 turbo's needed for a showerhead this size. FYI

15 and counting...

Hey all, just an update... we've got 15 people on the list so far and we're only 2 days into this thing. Reaching 20+ people by March 22 seems, well, quite promising! :D Keep 'em coming! :)

group buy

This is GREAT! Does this also apply to the 3rd gens? If it does, then I will have to scrounge up some cash Quickly.

Common Rail injectors are exempt from the group purchase.

The 03-04 injectors are about to hit the dyno ;)

It depends on who you talk with. Are you talking about the body style or the engine? I can see both sides, but for all practical purposes I personally think the 03's and up are 3rd gens. JMHO

Sorry to jump in on the thread. I wish I had the $$$ to drop on some EDM's.

Would the Mach 6 or 7's be good for Nitrous use? Enough fuel?

Just to help clarify some things.

John,

Yes this is for DonM's F1 Mach series injectors.

Jrandol,

The mach 6's are the largest injector you can use with a stock vp truck (ie: the most hp to date with twins).

Turbos4life,

There aren't any mach 7's. As I posted above the mach 6's are the highest hp to date. A friend of mine uses the mach 6's with nitrous and has dynoed well into the 700's. I helped Don work up the larger injectors and as I dont run nitrous we haven't worked on a injector specifically for nitrous. That's not to say it wont happen this year it just hasn't as of yet. That is also not to say that the mach 6's wont give you more on nitrous than any other injector out there. It just hasn't been tested.

Bob W. ,

Come on man dont confuse things around here :D . 98. 5's to '02's are still 2nd gens.

3rd gen owners,

The echo injectors should be ironed out by the end of next month barring any technical/unforseen difficulties. The release date is said to be summer because if gives enough time to do plenty of road testing before release. Dont be surprised if you see them by the end of april though. I think once Don is comfortable with them I can talk him into a offer like this for the 3rd gen injectors or maybe even a combo 2nd gen/3rd gen group buy. Needless to say when they are ready for release I will post a group buy on here providing Don agrees to it.

I sprayed a small shot of nitrous with the Mach 6's this past weekend. I couldnt go with a larger shot because the clutch wouldnt hang. I picked up 37 HP/95 TQ. on a small jet. With a good size jet Im sure you can gain 100+HP. When the new clutch gets installed we will see.

greater discount with more members?

It seems so far that response is overwhelming and that the original deal of 20% off was a "stretch" to get 20 committed buyers. Would there be a possibility of getting 25% or 20% off with a committed buy of say 30 or 40 people?

Thanks

Tim
