Electronic Brake Controller

I need to purchase a new brake controller and am ignorant of what is available out there. It has been several years since I purchased one. Any suggestions?

Have owned a couple Techonsha(sp. ) units. Good adjustability, self-leveling and some have a pre-programmed setting for when your empty or loaded... just click #1 or #2 positions!

Suggest you search through the Products area.
Draw-Tite, Hayes, Napa, Jordan Research, Tekonsha and Reese are a few names.

Warning: If you install it yourself watch the colors on the control compared to the truck wiring because they don't match up.

I have the Tekonsha Sentinel - no problems and plugs right into the socket under the steering column #ad
:. This was a good thing as I am electrically challenged #ad

Tekonsha makes 4 or 5 different models,depending on your wants or needs. All
models have a 5year warranty. I use a Tekonsha
Sentinel & am extemely satisfied with it. Hope

I have the draw-tite 5500. It plugs right in and works great.

I use the Tekonsha Sentinel also,works great,but what I find more important is a good exhaust brake.

Draw-Tite Activator II is what I've used and the one a few of the trailer shops in my neck of the woods claimed to be the best. I have been very satisfied, a couple of different adjustments available to dial it in for diff trailers and loads.
