100* is the minimum the EVIC will display. I find this to be very strange as my ScanGauge will read actual coolant temp.
 
One more thing I’ve noticed is when I cold crank it (like this morning) my coolant temp says 100 degrees. It was 46 degrees when I cranked the truck. The coolant should’ve been 46 degrees.

On my truck the coolant temp never goes below 100 degrees Fahrenheit no matter how cold it is outside.

I have an update! So i got with Ryan at hardway and he looked up my vin and found that i had several versions older software in my tune. He emailed me the latest and greatest flash and my truck runs 10 times better and has a super crisp throttle like a tuned up P-pump! (just comparing the throttle response to my old 12 valve) it also fixed the smoking problem. Now on cold crank the EB engages and i can turn it off immediately with the switch or just by tapping the throttle like it should be. The trans shifts a bit different too. Thanks for all of yalls responses and help along the way!

well, that didn't last long. The turbo is messed up and stuck. Im about to buy a new turbo and most likely gonna go with the BD iron horn borgwarner kit with BD exhaust brake (the one that works in conjunction with the factory switch and settings) or the high tech turbo kit which is just the turbo thats machined to fit the factory exhaust manifold and also still use the BD exhaust brake kit. Is anyone on here using a fixed turbo like the borg warner sxe? Im looking at getting the 63/74 from high tech turbo or the s364sxe/80 .91AR from BD. I want the least laggy turbo but dont want it to spool immediatly and then run out. Ive got 35s and 3.42 gears. Thoughts? recommendations? thanks!
 
I ended up going with the fleece cheetah vgt. And glad I did. It pulls great and makes great power. Now I just need to get this stupid torque management or whatever tuned out Of the trans

Tuned out of the trans. That dead pedal is a drag sometimes
