Oh an of course my warrenty runs out in DEC

Doesn't mean anything. You already addressed the problem under warranty. As long as it isn't like 2 years down the line, then keep on them. They keep the "ticket" open.

Just because you're not seeing soot around the exhaust manifold, that doesn't mean it's not leaking! I had very little soot when mine started to leak and it was mainly under the manifold. Wasn't until I had all parts and time allocated to do the work, that soot was starting to amount to anything elsewhere under the hood. I'm with @Ozymandias to find another dealer!
