Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) exhaust components on 2002

I purchased my 02 used and it had Oregon plates on it but was originally purchased in Oklahoma. I live in California and now we have smog testing. I cannot locate a federal emissions sticker anywhere on the truck. Can anyone tell me what exhaust components are on my truck? I don't think I have a catalytic converter before the muffler. It looks like a resonator. Could this be?

Yes, it is just a resonator. My emissions sticker(Calif) is down by the engine data plate. Standing in front of the truck, look down between the upper rad hose and the front of the valve cover, it is on a horizontal surface. Mine is a white/silver sticker about 1. 5" x 2".
