There's a whole lot of customizing going on out there. #ad
If it seems too loud in the cab, try this. Hope it works. #ad

Koa Man, nice truck. How would you compare the sound (as in loud) of your stack, to a non-muffed stock exhaust system? Gotta be a trip to see that big workboy kick butt.

Koa Man, do the QC doors still open with those dual stacks?

The sound is much quieter with the stack than when I was running the straight 3 inch in the stock location. It is also much quieter than when I had the 4 inch with same Walker muffler exiting in front of the real wheel. It is louder than stock, however.

As far as the QC rear doors, I don't have any. Mine is a '96 Club Cab and '98 was the first year with the QC.

Got to love those monster tips & stacks. #ad
The stacks look like they barely fit under the ceiling in one of the pictures.

thanks, Hemi ! I get lots of compliments on the sound, they are LOUD... . when I changed over to an Hx40, I had to run a straight pipe before I got these duals re-installed... I got lots of COMPLAINTS on how HORRIBLE it sounded...
I'm thinking of selling these custom-welded pipes, the entire system from end-of-downpipe on back, in order to install stacks. If anyone's interested, email me. I won't ship them, you'll have to meet me somewhere !

gotta chicken out on that request, Willys, at least till I get time to clean under there. The truck's covered in Kentucky mud, under and over, I went down to the farm to bring my bass boat home now that fishin' weather's here, and had to 4x4 all the way in and all the way back out to the road... I figure I'll wash the mud off the boat when I put it in the lake #ad

Hey ToolManTimTaylor, neat-o license tag, no numbers visible ! Is that the one you use to drive away with free diesel? #ad

<img src=http://www.engr. uvic. ca/~ssherman/dodge.jpg width=660 hidth=525>

Here's my 1st gen, stacks and all...

I like this setup, the exhaust is diverted up through the front of the box into a 6" square tubing spreader and then up into the stacks. The volume of this system is huge, there is no back pressure, and the stacks are no louder than factory (at idle).

I rode in my friends stock 95 CTD the other day, mine has more JAM which really surprised me.

Since there were pics taken of mine by Bigsaint at the dyno event, might as well share one.

Are the outlets in front of the wheel(s) significantly louder or smokier in the cab than stock? It sure seems smarter to reduce length and eliminate that hump over rear axle. Just wondering why the factory sends it all the way aft???
