Factory fuel tank

Hi all just got back on a month vacation with the dually and 5er. Only complaint was the whimpy fuel tank. I found a guy that has a factory 50 gal out of a 2023 dually. Will this fit my 2018 dually?

It will not, the mounts for the OEM 50 are different. Why does a guy have a 2023 tank for sale?

I put a Titan 55 gallon tank in my 2018 and it was a worthy investment.

That’s my understanding.

None of the aftermarket tanks I’ve looked at will work if you have the OEM 50 gallon tank.

I checked the S&B website and the same 5050 gal tank is used on 2007-2023 . Your thoughts?

I use a 110 gallon Delta tank/toolbox combination, only thing bad about it is the $500+ to fill it

So if I am reading this right.. there is no point in looking for a 50G OEM take out for my 2020 as I had been? I currently use a 60G aux tank for towing, but was considering the swap, but if it will not mount then I'll stop looking

I don’t see any 50 gallon tank on their website. The only tank they have that’s close to what you posted is a 52 gallon tank for 05-23 short bed trucks.

I was under the impression you had a CCLB DRW, not a MCSB DRW. What truck do you have?

Correct, if you want a larger tank you’ll need to go aftermarket.

I have a long bed dually crewcab. Yes the S&B is 52 gallon. The seller sent me center to center for the mounting bracket. I'll crawl under and check it this morning.

The S&B for your truck is a 60 gallon tank. States right on their page it won’t work for trucks with the OEM 50 gallon tank.
