Possible Pittsburgh/SW Pa Truck Show???

A couple of quick notes as the time draws nearer...

-This was brought to my attention and I am going to try and get it done for the show. I had a PM sent to me asking if I could get the owners previous best run and keep it handy and post it along with the pull they make that day. This will give everyone a chance to see the previous best roll and their updated one.

-Its time we start to post what we are going to bring to put the feed bag on for the weekend. I can only hope that all participate in this area so we do not have to run out and but food. If we make a effort and everyone helps we will be able to go the weekend with only minor things needed. So post up gang, what are going to eat??.

-It has also been brought to my attention that I need to make sure that everyone knows that in order to have a chance at the sponsor prizes you MUST dyno. This is a competition and those owners who compete have a chance for some nice things. I will also remind owners of this,if when your number is drawn you find nothing you desire, pass on it so the next owner may have a chance. In previous years we have had owners do this and I appreciate those who have in the past who have done this. If you do win and decide to take a gift, please use it for YOUR vechicle only. All of the certificates will given away will be only be able to be used by the winner only and I will have to notify those sponsors of who won their prize.

-Another thing that was brought to my attention numerous times was the class changes. I will entertain any ideas for next years show along wqith better class designations. Remember though, more classes mean more money spent and it will need some type of fund raiser to help support the added cost. I certainly don't mind adding or breaking down classes more but we work within the confines of our budget now and that budget is not able to do much more. We can discuss this over lunch either day or during breaks if you desire.

-The last ramble for the day and I will be off to work is DUES. Its a shame that our own members do not desire to pay chapter dues. These due help support the Mid-Summer picnic, website and Fall Brawl happenings. All of the TDP group(the Ford & Chevy owners) had paid last year and we still,as of this date, still have our own members who didn't. Listen, this is your club as it ours,in order to do more things we need to be current with our chapter dues. ICEMAN will be on hand all weekend long and dues will be paid to him and him only to eliminate confusion. We will do more "member" only things next year and this is a way to get them rolling. Remember the more members who are current, the easier it is for us to make shows bigger and better. Just my . 02 worth on that idea... ..... Andy

I may be down too, met a few of you guys at Carlisle this year.

Will, hope to see you there.

And Andy, you KNOW I', bringing brownies - the only thing on this Earth that I can really do well. :D If you need more food, or supplies, let me know.

Damn.....

Well, I wont be able to make this one. A wedding I must attend and there is "NO WAY OUT OF IT" ( No, its not my wedding ... . and ..... she owns the truck :-laf )

Sooooo, there is no way I can attend this event that has catapulted to the top for its fun and excitement that takes place at Kauffmans. Hope all have a great time... . as I am sure you all will.....

Proram, you have a PM

Thanks Dave :)

Hey, you put'em the only place you can sometimes!! LOL!!

The new motor is running great! A bunch of guy's were trying to talk me into going to the strip tonight, but I used my better judgement(for a change!! LOL!) and declined. The motor only has about 400 mi. on it and I want to change the oil and break her in a little more. ;)

Don't worry, I'll be at Kauffmans Oo.

I still hope to attend, depending on my new work schedule. BTW, my employer put me up in the Ramada Limited on Bent Creek Blvd in Mechanicsburg last week. What a dump. No internet, broken beds, and 7 tv channles.

ICEMAN...

Doesn't the motor in that International really look like the twin to the one shown in Greg's pickup, complete with the correct version paint. I only wonder why he took the stack off thru the hood,it certainly would have struck fear into the hearts of Dodge owners for the weekend. LOL... ... Andy

ICEMAN,

Nice tractor. I happen to collect Olivers. What model is your IH? Gas or diesel? Is it British or American? PM Me or email me so we don't waste bandwidth on an Off Topic Topic.
