no cop-out by any means but im not saying 800 is going to happen, this truck has not see a dyno in over a year, its all guess work. i will be safer and say oh 700's is about right, im only running a single on dieselfuel... ..... :-laf

prepared for what--a good time. thats all im going for, if there is going to be a 2000hp truck ok great, im not building my truck for that, i tow, daily drive, sled pull and quarter mile my truck, and still get 23+ mpg, with 410 gears and 4x4. thats where the proof is, how versatle is it. and if this dyno is a true reading dyno, then it will put down low #,s if it is out there, it will put out stupid high #'s. my quarter mile times prove my #'s are higher than i thought, but just for you hp junkies :-laf i will be there win or lose, it does not matter to me, as long as i can make it home... ... ... ... . Oo.

There have been who have attempted to claim their power levels in the years I have been doing this. Some have been pleasantly surprised but for those few who have I have twice as many go home mumbling to themselves to figure out what happened.

so exactly what are you implieing????? to be honest i have noproblem with lloyd. and to be perfectly clear i like competition, thats what fuels my fire.

What am I implieing you ask?...

Simple,I have seen all the trash talking that you have been doing lately about how nasty your truck is and yes in one thread you even went as far as implieing it feels like 800hp. The implication here is simple actually,beware as you may be in for a suprise for the number you get. See,many have learned that the seat of the pants o meter doesn't equal the dyno numbers. Personally,the shear spirit of competition is fun,but just enjoying what goes on to me is more fun. I've said it before and I'll echo myself here,Ernie and the gang do not call the Dyno-Jet the "Humbler" for nothing. It is a piece of equipment which broken more than a few hearts over the years. You need to relax was the whole point but you missed it completely.

anyone have access to a freeze plug for the back of the block on a third gen. for tomorrow so i can get wades truck up there for sunday. we were out playing with the new trans and blew out the back freeze plug please anyone help.
