FASS Problem?

My fass is the 150 gph unit and has about 35,000 installed last jan. Since it was installed it has made a constant loud whine very audible in the back in the camper. Not a problem for me, it has been a very comforting sound. A month or so ago i noticed that the whine would stop for a few seconds and then start again this is mainly at idle but i think it is doing it under load as well. Fuel pressure gauge to be put in this week. Been working too many hours to fool with it till now. Anybody have any comments?

Ya Know I have one that was in a truck for 1 month and the brushes went out allready ,so I called and they sent me new ones and then a week later the pump droped to only putting out 7psi ,now today it just stopped working. I just put one in my other truck and it sounds really sick I give it a month if I am lucky.

I thuoght these things were sopposed to be good products, they seem like crap compared to my SX systems I put on our Fords.

Jed: Did you put the oversize pickup line in to the tank? or use the stock pickup line? The 150 gph FASS needs the oversize pickup line. Fuel pressure gauge is really a necessity.

I had the 150 and went back to 95gph pump the 150 is just to much for these trucks that are stock.

Another thing... . Is the camper hard mounted in the bed or is it on rubber/foam pads? Or is it a frame mounted custom camper that could be picking up the wine directly from the hard mount of the FASS to the frame?
