Guys,

Can any of you provide feedback (pos. or neg. ) on dealing with Diesel Care and Performance of Memphis, TN. Especially interested in feedback on the quality of their rebuilt VE pumps.

Thanks,

K

FWIW I bought a p pump from them but they didnt have any, so they had another shop ship me one. It was supposed to be a 215 hp pump, but had the internals of a 160 with no data plates on the outside, so the unsuspecting buyer wouldnt know. needless to say I returned it. Just my experience with them.....

You can search for "Dieselcare" on this forum for more insight. I seem to remember a good bit of it was not good. FWIW, I got my pump rebuilt at my local pump shop. Price was right and I was able to deal with a person face to face. I'm sure there is a pump shop local to you also.

If you do get it rebuilt, make sure they put in ALL NEW springs and seals. Not to mention, if anything else looks less than new, have it replaced. I know local shops that have erred on the side of a lower total bill, reusing springs and whatnot, and I have not been pleased with the results over the long term.
